Fairholm National Historic Inn is a historic architectural masterpiece in downtown Charlottetown. Fairholm Inn & properties include Fairholm Inn, the Carriage House, Hillhurst Inn, the Cranford House, as well as other long-term rental properties. The Carriage house is located on the same lot as Fairholm Inn while Hillhurst and Cranford House are the adjoining properties which all share the same green space, grounds, gazebo and garden areas.

 

Brooke and Gina MacMillan are the owners of Fairholm Inn & Properties. They purchased Fairholm in 1999 and transformed it after it had been a single family home for over 160 years. Brooke and Gina oversaw and completed months of careful restoration to the building and grounds, modernizing these historic properties and reestablishing  Fairholm and its properties as one of Charlottetown’s most beautiful boutique hotel properties. Ben, Gina and Brooke's son is also involved in Fairholm properties, managing operations, and bookings, and is there to make sure you have a wonderful experience.

 

Our ever-cheerful housekeeper, Judy, will be returning for her 15th season this summer, while Mitch keeps everyone on track to make sure you have a perfect stay. Brooke can usually be found anywhere on the property, be it in the kitchen preparing your delicious breakfasts, on the lawnmower keeping the grounds manicured or every now and then under the pergola sitting around the campfire sharing stories with guests.

 

Our top priority is always making sure you have an exceptional stay at Fairholm. We are on call 24 hours a day to answer your phone calls and questions and help with your vacation plans, always maintaining the professionalism befitting a Five Star property. We are a very small staff and we firmly believe that our small size and love for our work allows us to make each and every guest feel well cared for and happy!
